Ka:lu meets vinyls at age 15. He discovered DnB Music in 2000 during his university studies in Rome. In that period he starts to play music software and to experiment the drum and bass beat making. At the same moment he also starts to use video editing software and to play as a VJ too. He organizes  a sequences of parties called "SannioConnection", in south italy, where young artist, coming  from different cities and arts plattforms, had possibilities to meet and cooperate together. In 2007 he  collaborates with Maztek and DnB.Suculture in Rome playing as a DJ/VJ.  Together with him, he decides to build up Subculture Music; the new idea was that Subculture Artists are militant of the new concept of drum & bass sound, they use the evolution of the sonorous synthesis as a true force 'to infect people to dance', smashing all the dancefloors they meet. Subculture has no kinds limits and will propose the finest artists from the international scene,  providing a new vision of the drum & bass music. 
So, between 2000 and 2009 he has been involved in many parties, events and festivals as Dj/Vj, having the opportunities to collaborate with most of italian and interanational DnB aritists. This summer he wins the Vj Constest at the SonicaElettronicMusicFestival2009. Actually he is working also with his European organization called INCA Italia (www.incaitalia.it). The main goal is to promote Music, Video and Theater among young people to develop local communities and to enlarge the European and International consciousness.
