Imwinkelried’s work focuses on politics and gender, as well as on alternative representations of Greek and Roman antiquity in digital formats.Imwinkelried has shown video works at several international venues including the European Media Art Festival (EMAF), the British Film Institute’s London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, NewFest 2008: The New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Film Festival, Reeling: The Chicago Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and the Irish Film Institute’s Dublin Lesbian & Gay Festival.
